Nemo has won the heart of this Brindleton Bay native with his actively playful personality and undying loyalty that is the definition of man’s best friend.
Meet Rad Peets, the self assured and self proclaimed teen animal lover with a particular passion for dogs. At just 1 year old, Nemo was adopted by Rad from his local vet, Brindleton Pawspital, after he recovered from being the runt in his litter!
Rad has always loved the sounds of the ocean and calm of the bay breeze but was always sad he could not share it with anyone special. Life was good but he never felt complete, until the day he found Nemo.
Being a purebred Maltese was a rare find for adoption, but Nemo was a special dog. Rad could sense his spunky demeanor and willingness to learn unlike any other dog he has met.
Before Rad knew it, a few signals later he had taught Nemo to sit. He was very attentive and looked impressed with the way he had pleased his owner.
Of course this trick deserved the highest of rewards for this food motivated youngster. A yummy soft chew was the perfect treat, good boy Nemo!
The day progressed and they got to meet some of their neighbors. Dina Caliente was able to chat for a bit and introduced herself as she was walking her Pomeranian, Chloe. 
Rad began to encourage Nemo to use the bathroom as the sun was beginning to set on their beautiful day. Wouldn’t be long now until they were back home at Rad bachelor pad.
They strolled some more to find the perfect spot and greeted Malcolm Landgraab and his Golden Retriever, Madden, as they passed through the park.
Nemo was so excited that he couldn’t help himself and made a small puddle in the center of everyone. Rad was prepared to clean up after him, but not after a discussion about more proper places to do his business.
After the amazing first day they had, Rad just could not stay mad at his new best friend. They walked around some more as they took in the fresh bay air, enjoyed a good brush session and they were on their way back home to settle in.
It was dinner time for these two, Nemo scarfed down his 1/4 cup of dry food while Rad was still heating up his own. He seemed to feel right at home and worked on his favorite ball while Rad ate.
Nemo was loyal and refused to settle anywhere else in the house if Rad wasn’t at his side. A full day for the both of them meant turning in early, at least for Nemo who was already snoozing in his bed.
The night was quiet but not for long with the occasional sneeze. As the sun rose, the sneezing fits continued and Rad already knew he was in for another long day.
